As we enter the unexpected second round of our impromptu pop culture tournament, I have to say I’m surprised that this match-up isn’t Superman and Captain Marvel. I mean, don’t get me wrong, Wonder Woman is amazing and Thor has been a bright light in the high-profile MCU, but I really figured that Captain Marvel’s showing against Thanos would have put her over the top. Then again, I didn’t really count on the Lynda Carter factor, nor the return of the old “Superman is susceptible to magic” canard, leading us to today’s mythological batlle…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) doesn’t want to affect anyone’s answer, but I will always vote lasso over hammer in this context, asking: Wonder Woman or Thor?

Thor. From Frog Thor to Hemsworth, Thor has shown it can have an element of whimsy to play off against the pomp of legend. My experience of Wonder Woman has been largely joyless.
i feel like Diana would catch and hoist the hammer at some point, and they’d end up just going to the nearest tavern for ales and closing the place out while Led Zep and Dio-era Sabbath plays all night.
Gonna have some fun:
Wonder Woman because…….Adrianne Palicki. Hmmmm noticing a trend here.
And “HAIR” . it always seems that Thor has dirty hair. Whereas Wonder Woman always has some nice shiny tresses. Sometimes I wonder how often the thunder god takes a shower.
otherwise they are pretty much interchangeable.
