When she was younger, my daughter had a deep love of breakfast for dinner (what she still calls “brinner”), wanting to have scrambled eggs and pancakes for any and all meals. For my part, I grew up with the expectation that eggs were only for breakfast and Easter baskets, but now that I’m older, and Sonic will make you a burrito at any time of day, I’ve changed. Still, given my druthers, I’d like brunch, combining elements of traditional breakfast food and midday meals, especially my favorite hamburger, which comes with eggs, bacon and hash browns in the sandwich, leading to today’s food-related query…
