Major Spoilers Question of the Day: Which Teen Titan Edition

    Matthew PetersonBy Matthew PetersonFebruary 13, 2021Updated:February 13, 20213 Comments1 Min Read

Thanks to a mistaken streaming search, we watched ‘Teen Titans Vs. Teen Titans Go‘ rather than the next episode of grimdark HBOMax’s Titans last night, and… it was the best decision I’ve made in months.  Not only did we get to see the original 2003 squad again, we got to enjoy talented voice actors doing two versions of their characters (and nailing it, especially Tara and Kevin Michael Richardson). Not only did we get alternate reality Titans galore, we got to argue about whose powers were the best.  Indeed, it was a hard call to balance peak human abilities vs. demonic telekinesis vs. cool robot body vs. alien starbolts vs. zoological transformation, but it led us to today’s multidimensional query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would definitely love Cyborg’s versatility and machine prowess, even though the downside is pretty obvious, asking: Which Teen Titan (of the animated five) would you most like to have the powers of?

Once upon a time, there was a young nerd from the Midwest, who loved Matter-Eater Lad and the McKenzie Brothers... If pop culture were a maze, Matthew would be the Minotaur at its center. Were it a mall, he'd be the Food Court. Were it a parking lot, he’d be the distant Cart Corral where the weird kids gather to smoke, but that’s not important right now... Matthew enjoys body surfing (so long as the bodies are fresh), writing in the third person, and dark-eyed women. Amongst his weaponry are such diverse elements as: Fear! Surprise! Ruthless efficiency! An almost fanatical devotion to pop culture! And a nice red uniform.

The tall ones. Better story and theme song.

Probably Raven. I’m usually sullen enough for it.

Maybe I should watch this show!
