Some people don’t believe me, but before I was a comic book nerd, I had a thing for cars, especially never-produced concept cars and the custom work of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth. My dream ride was Mysterion, a bubble-topped roadster with a shag carpeted interior, a built-in color TV and twin V-8 hot rod engines in the front. It was a car that looked as much like a moon buggy as any sort of automobile, and it’s final fate (parted out after disuse, with no documentation of the vehicle specs to be found) is a sad one, leading to today’s wistful, yet automotive query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would love a classic 1966 Batmobile or a Sunbeam Tiger, if only I would fit in their driver’s seat, asking: If price were no option, what would be YOUR dream ride?

Probably KITT. But those old Pontiacs are huge gas hogs.
