SATURDAY ONLINE SKETCH CLASSES FOR JUNE. TAUGHT BY EMMA KUBERT!
Kids of all ages and all skill levels can draw along as they enjoy live online art instruction from Emma Kubert for the month of June with the launch of The Kubert School’s Online Saturday Sketch Sessions! “I loved attending Saturday class when I was younger. It gave me a chance to explore storytelling, draw imaginatively, and jump start my career as an artist! I learned so much from my teachers, and I’m excited to pass along the knowledge. It’s going to be a blast!” says Emma Kubert, a 2018 graduate of The Kubert School, daughter of Andy Kubert, and grand daughter of the school’s founder and legendary creator, Joe Kubert.
Emma has freelanced for various companies such as DC Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, 20th Century Fox and Image Comics. She recently penciled, inked and colored for DC Comics’ DC Super Hero Girls and Teen Titans Go!, drew layouts for the comic company’s young adult graphic novel Raven, and illustrated two movie posters for 20th Century Fox’s Dark Phoenix promotion. Emma is currently working with fellow artist and Kubert School Graduate, Rusty Gladd, developing their creator-owned project Inkblot for Image Comics, which will be published later in 2020.
“We are so excited to have Emma help us launch our first ever Online Saturday Sketch Classes! She is a fantastic artist and we look forward to her bringing a wonderful sense of energy and fun to this incredible program!” says Anthony Marques, President of The Kubert School.
Classes will begin on June 6, 2020 and run for four Saturdays. The monthly price will be $95.
The class will run at four different times throughout the day so that people around the globe can take advantage!
If you are in need of art supplies please visit www.kubertartstore.com to purchase your art supplies and they will be mailed to you.
The classes will run at four different times.
