Great episode; I love your energy and enthusiasm! Thank you for all your work, it brings me much joy. Just a couple of things that hurt this old geek’s brain that I thought I’d “um, actually” so my brain can stop hurting. Thank you, also, for your forbearance :)
X-men 201 came out cover-dated January 1986, not 1969, and well after the Dark Phoenix Saga back in issues 129-138, where Kitty Pride was first introduced. Prof. X named Storm leader between 138 & 139 when Cyclops went walkabout after Phoenix’s death. In issue 201, Cyclops was trying to take leadership back in the absence of Prof. X who was gone from earth following the events of X-men 200. Scott cited her lack of powers as a reason that she wasn’t suited to lead.
The name “Callisto” comes to us from the Odyssey, in which she is a princess and hunting partner of Artemis, so it is definitely a female name. Similarly, Yukio is a female character. Having an “O” at the end of a name doesn’t make it male.
