After a week of pleading with friends and co-hosts not to give away any of the big twists, I have finally seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’. I really enjoyed the thing where the guy had that thing, the time when that one person arrived just in the nick of time, and also when Captain America said that thing, but having been spoilered TWICE by internet pop-ups at dinner, just minutes before I saw the flick, I don’t want to damage the experience for any Faithful Spoilerites. You’ll just have to learn about how two people argued with a stunning ending, how somebody got an important haircut and how the real hero may be an animal we see for about ten seconds later, leading to today’s intentionally vague query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) is still embarrassed about the time I spoiled the thing about the item and significance of its name in that one famous movie about the rich beard guy, asking: Describe your WORST spoiler experience, in non-spoilery terms.

I knew the twist to Psycho before I saw it and I was still surprised because of plot structure and masterful immersion in the story. I guess my point is that I can’t think of one or I am just very dumb!
I knew what happens in the first act of Transformers the Movie. Finnish comics run started from that issue years before I saw it.
I saw E.T. six months after it came out. At that point, there was nothing to spoil.
I read the spoiler about the circumstances of a major character’s death in the 6th Harry Potter book while I was finishing the 5th. I was so dissapointed! I didn’t really enjoy reading that book at all. And sure, it made the later reveal a lot more satisfying, but it sucked at the moment
