In the United States of America, Thanksgiving is just around the corner. While many of our fine Canadian friends believe we are holding it way later than normal, one thing we all agree on is it is time to celebrate, and give thanks… FOR PUMPKIN PIE!

I like a pumpkin pie, but if you’ve never had sweet potato, I highly recommend it. Vastly superior, in my opinion.
I like pumpkin pie, but I *love* pecan pie.
I’ve just never been that fond of pumpkin pie. I am the family pie maker, though, so I always make sure there is a fabulous pumpkin pie, and a fabulous berry or cherry pie at Thanksgiving. That way there’s always a pie I like too.
I want to like it!! Each year I try a bite…love the aroma, that initial flavor…but then the texture!! Ugh!! Not sure why, but the texture of pumpkin pie just puts a lump in my throat :(
