Growing up watching ‘The Kids In The Hall’ and ‘SCTV’ gave me a very weird expectation about the country of Canadia. I know, rationally, that in the year 2018, the differences between the Great White North and other countries aren’t as pronounced as they might want us to believe on ‘How I Met Your Mother.’ The interesting accents of Simon Tremblay and Turk Grimsby aside, some of the most famous fictional folk in the world are fictional Canadian from Deadpool to Benton Frasier to that one X-Man with the pointy hat and stuff, leading to today’s parliamentary democratic query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) expects to hear a lot about Deadpool, but still favors Dudley Do-Right for sentimental reasons, asking: Which fictional Canadian is the greatest representative of our friends to the north?
