    Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

There are a whole bunch of Spider-characters in new Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse trailer

A new trailer dropped yesterday for the upcoming Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse animated movie. If you haven’t had a chance to see the trailer yet, stop what you are doing and check it out.

SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE – Official Trailer (HD)

What makes you different is what makes you Spider-Man. Watch the new Spider-Man: Into The #SpiderVerse trailer now – in theaters this Christmas.https://ticke…

Oh, man. While I love, Love, LOVE Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse may be my new favorite Spider-Man movie, and I haven’t even seen it yet. The art direction and style in this trailer is phenomenal – especially the subtle shading that includes the Ben-Day dots. The only thing – the ONLY thing – that I have a problem with in the trailer, is the backgrounds sometimes push the offset printing style a bit too far, and it hurts my eyes as I try to register (ha! see what I did there?) what is going on as the greens and reds look really weird.

As far as the story we get in this trailer, I did enjoy Miles Morales when he debuted in the comics, as it brought a breath of fresh air to the Ultimate Universe. Likewise, this movie looks to bring that same energy to the Spider-Man movie franchise without relying on the comic book source material… because Spider-Man Homecoming already lifted so much.

Anyhoo, we still have to wait until Christmas to see this movie, which I guess I can do… but I’d rather this be available sooner than later.

What do you think, Spoilerites? Are you game to line up on opening day, in the cold, with your friends and family, wearing your favorite Spider-Man hoodie to see this movie? I know I will be.
