BOOM! Studios is thrilled to announce it has received four of the ten nominations for the 2018 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comic at the 29th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. This follows GLAAD previously honoring THE WOODS, an original comic book series from writer James Tynion IV and artist Michael Dialynas, as the winner of the 2017 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comic.
The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community and the issues that affect their lives. They also fund GLAAD’s work to amplify stories from the LGBTQ community that build support for equality.
