8) SGT. MARVEL

 

Sergeant John Marvel is clearly named for creator Erik Larsen’s favorite hero, Captain Marvel. Unlike fellow Larsen creation Mighty Man, though, he has no other aspects of that character’s influence, instead existing as a broad composite of elements of Batman and Nick Fury, possessed of a weapon known as “The God Gun” that could fulfill any wish upon being fired.

Savage Dragon characters get complicated, is what I’m sayin’…

  1. i’m sad you had Firestar be number one, her Microwave abilities at least set things on fire.
    i’d say blackbolt needed to be on the list… that doesn’t “scream” sound powers to me ;)
