    PRESS RELEASE

BOOM! Studios, in association with Saban Brands, is excited to announce that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers icons Walter Jones (“Zack Taylor,” the Black Ranger) and David Yost (“Billy Cranston,” the Blue Ranger) will join them at New York Comic Con (NYCC). Appearing exclusively at the BOOM! Studios booth (#1828) from October 5-8, Jones and Yost will be signing comics along with other memorabilia all weekend.

Additionally, Jones and Yost will join Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic book writer Kyle Higgins for the “Go Go Power Rangers Comics” panel on Thursday, October 5 at 4:15pm in Room 1A24 of the Javits Center, along with other special guests. The panel will be moderated by journalist James Viscardi (ComicBook.com).

“2018 will be the biggest year of Power Rangers comics ever, so it’s only appropriate to have legends like David and Walter join us to help reveal BOOM Studios’ plans,”  says BOOM! Studios Managing Editor Bryce Carlson, who will also appear on the “Go Go Power Rangers Comics” panel. “We’re thrilled fans can join us to meet David, Walter, and comic series writer Kyle Higgins all weekend long at our booth, along with getting the first crack at some morphinominal exclusive merchandise!”

New products available at the BOOM! Studios booth at NYCC will be the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Year One Limited Slipcase Edition (strictly limited to 250 copies), which will debut at the show; two exclusive NYCC covers for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #19; and two enamel pins featuring Lord Drakkon and his Zord, Black Dragon. Lord Drakkon is the first new Mighty Morphin Power Ranger since the debut of the television series nearly 25 years ago and is featured in nWay’s Saban’s Power Rangers: Legacy War mobile game.
