Guess I’ll kick it off, then.

I had a lot of fun with it. It had all the fun & action of the first, with the added bonus that the comic-to-film adaptations of new characters was pretty on-point (as opposed to the “Nova Corps” of the first film.) Because of casting & previews, I was initially worried that Ego wouldn’t be the Living Planet but something more Hollywood-ified, but they pulled it out.

I liked seeing the rest of the original Guardians of the Galaxy having cameos as Yondu’s old Ravagers buddies.

And in one of the end-credit sequences, we get the ball rolling on Adam Warlock in time to get him into the Infinity War movies!

Lots of other good cameos, too, including more Howard the Duck. But I’m a little concerned we didn’t get more of Cosmo except an illustration during the credits.

And, lastly, I counted at least ten “I am Groot”s in the end credits, but I easily could have missed some.

I loved it. The best bit for me was Gamorra and Nebula together, you felt the hate and later how they started to understand the other and slowly accept that they are family. But the best scenes was with the Rocket & Yuando combo. They had one of the funniest scenes in any Marvel movie to date, also one of the most badass walks in any movie ever. Also, TASERFACE!!!

My only real problem was that Drax mostly was really mean against people, it makes sense maybe but i started to get tired of him. But then i liked him with Mantis how they both slowly opened up and he started to be nicer.
The groot being mad on Drax felt strange but got a nice little pay off but i still dont understand why Groot did´nt like Drax.

Best of the end credit scenes for me was Groot as a teenager with Peter Quill trying to act as a parent.

While I liked it and liked it a lot… It’s not as good as the first. Or something. In a way this one is, paradoxically, too much about the Guardians. Whereas the first film made you feel like they were part of a much bigger story, this version of the universe was all about them.

But I definitely still loved it.
