Tick Comics are a strange beast, indeed. Unlike many of the entries in this Ten Things, he does not have a mythological god counterpart that I can find. Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, however, was an architect in ancient Rome, known for renovating the aqueducts of the city to provide water to all social classes. Agrippa the superhero is a pretty clear parody of Marvel Comics’ Thor, right down to his flowery speech patterns and bold crimson cape…

I was so hoping to see DC’s Vext on this list. I didn’t read it when it first because I was in a super serious mood in high school but I found and read it last year. Really fun!
