    [Convention] David Duchovny to attend Wizard World New Orleans

    PRESS RELEASE –

    David Duchovny, best known for portraying such iconic characters as “Fox Mulder” on “The X-Files” and “Hank Moody” on “Californication,” returns to the largest pop culture and comic con tour when he attends Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The two-time Golden Globe winner is currently starring in the NBC TV series “Aquarius” and in the reboot of “The X-Files” on Fox.

    duchovnyDuchovny recently released his second novel, Bucky F*cking Dent: A Novel, following the success of his debut Holy Cow, which landed on The New York Times’ Bestseller List.

    He will join fellow “The X-Files” star Mitch Pileggi (“Assistant Director Walter Skinner”) at the event; they will conduct a dual interactive Q&A as well as pose for solo and dual photo ops.

    Aside from his most recent achievements, Duchovny has appeared in numerous television shows, including “The Larry Sanders Show”, “Twin Peaks,” “Life With Bonnie,” and “Sex and the City,” alongside his illustrious film credits including The X Files Movie, Zoolander, Beethoven, Kalifornia, Full Frontal, The Rapture, Evolution, Return To Me, Julia Has Two Lovers, Chaplin, and Playing God. Other feature credits include Trust The Man, The TV Set, and his self-directed and self-written House of D.

    Duchovny and Pileggi are part of an all-star lineup at Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans which already includes Carrie Fisher (Star Wars), Tom Felton (Harry Potter franchise), Stephen Amell and David Ramsey (“Arrow”), Christopher Lloyd and Tom Wilson ( Back to the Future trilogy), WWE® Superstar Batista™ (Dave Bautista), WWE® Superstar Finn Bálor™, Michael Cudlitz and Steven Yeun (“The Walking Dead”), Nichelle Nichols (“Star Trek”) and others.

    New Orleans (January 6-8, 2017) will also launch an exciting array of activities at Wizard World Comic Con shows in 2017. Fans will experience non-stop live entertainment throughout extended evening hours, Kick off the Con and After Parties, gaming, exclusive Q&A sessions with top celebrities, movie screenings hosted by stars and directors and more.     Wizard World comic and gaming con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more.

    Wizard World is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed –  will roam the convention floor.
