If I have learned anything from my years of Hellblazer fandom, it is to always bet on the smart-mouthed Englishman!
The key consideration here is that there is no mention of animation. “Jason Statham Made of Vegetables” is in my mind simply a well rendered effigy made out produce, and no inanimate object can stand before the might of the Smoke Monster (presumably ala LOST) , no matter how poorly dressed.
My kingdom for an “edit post” button! Not: ‘made out produce’ rather ‘made out of produce’.
You had me at “Jason Statham.” Why are we still talking?
Whether he’s plant-based or not, Statham has an impeccable record for victory. Whereas the Smoke Monster’s records have been mysteriously damaged…
Anyway, Tomato Statham would be able to hear the monster coming giving him an advantage.
Look, I like Jason Stratham as much as the next guy. Plays a good bad ass and pretty funny to boot. But make him out of vegetables and he can’t punch other people without hurting himself. Where as the Smoke Monster (I’m assuming the one from Lost), is an immortal shapeshifter that go intangible, flip cars and read minds. Clown shoes are not going to stop that, and depending on your personality may in fact and to the intimidation factor.
