1) “THE CAT IS GONE.”
The passage of time in the real world caused the creation of the alternate reality of Earth-2, a world where the earliest adventures of the DC Universe took place. This world’s Batman began to age out of the role after decades of heroing, finding himself for the first time uncertain of his place in the world. Teaming with a reformed Catwoman, Batman fell prey to Scarecrow’s fear gas, which instilled in him an instinctive fear of cats and in her a fear of bats. Forced to give up either the woman he loved or his secret identity, he removed his mask and fell into Selina’s arms finally free of the spectre of his lost parents and the Batman created by that traums. They were later wed, and their daughter became the hero known as the Huntress, but the story of how they revealed themselves is one of the most emotional and tender Dark Knight stories I’ve ever read. (Alan Brennert = Genius!)

As with any set of like items, these aren’t meant to be hard and fast or absolutely complete, especially when we look at 80 years of pointed ears…
