I’ve been wondering what happened to the Legendary Electra Woman and Dyna Girl movie, as its been very quiet since Comic-Con. Yesterday, Legendary calmed my fears by releasing a new trailer for the movie.

A smart, witty and fresh twist on the cult-classic television series from Sid & Marty Krofft, Legendary Digital Studios’ all-new feature-length superhero action comedy ELECTRA WOMAN & DYNA GIRL stars Grace Helbig (“The Grace Helbig Show”) and Hannah Hart (“My Drunk Kitchen”).

I’m down.  Can’t wait to see this on June 7th!

I’m really liking what I’m seeing here. I’m not familiar at all with the original show, but I do like what Grace and Hannah do. That being said… I’m not exactly loving some of the acting choices on Grace’s part, but I’m pretty sure I can enjoy the movie anyways

This is a nice change of pace from overly serious, dark, and grim superhero stuff. I think this fits in nicely with Deadpool and Mystery Men (which I happen to like, thank you very much). With so many superhero properties in the media nowadays, I hope more projects that stretch and explore the genre come out.
