[Television] Flash, Arrow, iZombie, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow renewed for next season

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherMarch 11, 20164 Comments1 Min Read

Good news everyone! The CW has renewed a number of its comic book properties, including DC’s Legends of Tomorrow for next year!

The series being ordered for the 2016-2017 season include JANE THE VIRGIN (Season 3), CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND (Season 2), THE FLASH (Season 3), iZOMBIE (Season 3), ARROW (Season 5), SUPERNATURAL (Season 12), DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (Season 2), THE 100 (Season 4), THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (Season 8), THE ORIGINALS (Season 4) and REIGN (Season 4). Specific premiere dates for each series will be announced at a later time.

This is definitely great news for me, as the DC pantheon of shows continues to grow, and is the one thing keeping me attached to serialized storytelling right now.

I’m happy to see the renewed Legends of Tomorrow! More opportunities to see Kamandi and the Legion!

Does this mean we get to see Constantine in Season Two?

And speaking of the Legion, did you guys catch the flight ring in a recent episode of Supergirl? It was in the Fortress of Solitude.

I saw it. It was kind of hard to miss ;)

Only for geeks like you (and I mean that with all the respect in the world, no sarcasm or anything). I was a little disappointed that I had to point it out to several people who I know own a Legion ring replica. It was obvious to us, but some folks were oblivious. Personally, I blame the 8-Track Tapes and the internet tubes for causing these young whippersnappers to have such short attention spans.
