The swap, the do-si-do, the ol’ switcheroo: It’s a tradition in comic books, from Black Canary’s migration into the Justice League to that weird bit where the X-Mutants and Protectors traded members before they all failed and their world blew up. (That is all canon. It actually happened. You’re welcome.) For me, there’s a lot of potential in these sort of flippy-floppy swippy-swappies, as one could imagine the Silver Surfer battling the forces of Apokalips or Hal Jordan in the Guardians Of The Galaxy. Best of all, it gives you a chance to jump away from the assumptions about characters, as an entirely new environment will mean an entirely new status quo, leading us to today’s quid pro quo query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would trade Batman for Cyclops, first to get Cyclops an environment where his skills as analyst, tactician and stalwart would be appreciated, while Batman can lead the mutants into a new age of probably snapping necks, asking: What two characters in pop culture would you choose to swap to improve both their lives?

Fantastic Four to any Bat-Family team. FF could be Justice League science branch, like JL Dark is their Magic department. Also, with current DC sales, they would probably appreciate even average sales book by Marvel standards right now.
Bat-book in Marvel Universe would do just fine, like they do anywhere, just slab that logo on the cover and it will sell. Nothing would change, except maybe they get to do Spider-crossover for Mega Big Bang Bucks with ton of variant covers. And new #1’s, of course.
Oh, and of course: No Joker to kill, cripple or otherwise mess up Bat-family. They’ll appreciate it.
I’d swap Captain America and Alan Scott for Avengers and JSA respectively. Cap I think would mesh very well with most of the JSA as a whole, and could easily relate to more of the senior members. Alan Scott I think could also beef up the Avengers power-set, and give the team an extra elder statesman.
There was General Glory with the JLI for a short time.
I would swap Bucky & Dick Grayson. Both of these men can never truly grow up or escape the second banana status no matter what they accomplish or what groups they lead. James Barnes was a better Captain America than SR was in years.
Dick has been the King of the sidekicks for years. He led the Titans, filled in as Batman, led the Justice League to save the “Real” League and went back to #2 without a word.
If both of these men were in different worlds, they would be out of the Shadow of the Bat & Cap.
