[Movies] Transformers Bumblebee Spin Off Announced

Ashley Victoria RobinsonBy Ashley Victoria RobinsonFebruary 12, 2016Updated:February 12, 20161 Comment1 Min Read

Hasbro has announced that there are at least three more Transformers movies in development and tentatively set for release in June 2017, 2018 and 2019.

In a second announcement that came on the heels of a confirmation that Michael Bay and Mark Wahlberg would be returning to Transformers 5, it has been revealed that Bumblebee will be getting his own solo flick:

“On June 8, 2018, a new film is being developed which will tell the never before heard story of Bumblebee, one of the most beloved characters from Hasbro’s Transformers universe.”

Transformers 5 is presently set for the same release date as the Wonder Woman solo movie – June 23, 2017. It will be interesting to see whether or not Transformers moves from that date.
Are you looking forward to more from the Transformers franchise? Is Bumblebee the best choice for the spinoff? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section!

I was so disappointed with Transformers 4. I’m hoping 5 will fail so hard that they will reboot it without Bay.
