[Television] Oliver Queen will have One Arm, a Goatee and a Connor Hawke

Ashley Victoria RobinsonBy Ashley Victoria RobinsonJanuary 28, 20163 Comments1 Min Read

Stephen Amell has announced to the world that when Legends of Tomorrow makes a jump to 2046 in their upcoming sixth episode he will appear with a  goatee and only one arm – a look that comic readers will recognize from The Dark Knight Returns. In addition to that, Amell has announced that Connor Hawke (the second Green Arrow and Oliver Queen’s son), will also join Legends in that same episode.

    The Goatee Cometh…

Fans of the television show Arrow have been speculating about Queen’s facial hair status and his famous son since the show’s first season and Legends of Tomorrow seems like the perfect place to introduce both aspects, which may otherwise have been difficult to incorporate into Arrow‘s current television mythology.

Legends of Tomorrow airs on Thursdays at 8pm on the CW.

I wonder how they are working Connor Hawke’s story for the Arrowverse since it has been stated he won’t be Ollie’s son in this particular incarnation. I’m not against the change, I’m just curious what they have planned.

I know Oliver Queen’s take will be inspired by the TDKR version but the rest of this sounds like a Batman Beyond homage:
Ollie is old, presumably not in the field, guiding from HQ.
Connor Hawke (who in this version is unrelated to OQ, asmentioned in another article) is GA.
The year is 2046 (BB was in the 2040s if I’m not mistaken.)

Arrow Beyond? I am definitely in

I am okay if Connor Hawke is not related to Oliver Queen as long as he’s somehow related to Shado.
