For the last several years, artist Carlos Pardo has been working on a detailed blueprint of the Death Star II – the one many Bothans died for – and now you can own those plans without the loss of additional life…maybe.
The Kickstarter campaign launched earlier this month, and has already raised $62,714 – well over the $4,546 that Pardo was asking for. Those that contributed to the campaign got their hands on a 23×31 inch poster that will be printed in a high quality matte finish. At 40 Euros (roughly $44.10 USD), this poster is expected to arrive in December.
Unfortunately, Pardo created a limited number of full-size posters for backers to acquire, and now all the cool ones are sold out. If you still want to get your hands on the plans, digital wallpapers and postcards are still available.
