[Television] Hawkman and Hawkgirl are revealed for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

    Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherSeptember 11, 2015Updated:September 11, 20154 Comments1 Min Read

Fans flipped their lids when Hawkgirl was announced as a regular for the upcoming DC’s Legends of Tomorrow series, and then freaked out again when it was confirmed that Hawkman would be a regular as well.  Today we get our first look at Ciara Renée and Falk Hentschel in their Hawk costumes.

There’s a little more brown than what I was expecting, but with the way the publicity departments have been releasing images of their costumed heroes over the last year, there could actually be a lot more red and gold in these costumes once they appear on screen.

Hawkgirl (aka Kendra Saunders) and Hawkman (aka Carter Hall) are soulmates and reincarnations of Ancient Egyptian royalty, fated to be reborn throughout time. Both heroes can access the powers of the Hawk God Horus, allowing them to sprout wings from their backs.

Both characters will appear in a Flash/Arrow crossover event before becoming regulars on the DC Legend’s of Tomorrow series that kicks off in 2016.

Well, what do you think? There’s a comment section below just waiting for your reactions to this picture.

I dig it, sure it’s not Red Yellow and Green, but they look good.

I think that the red and yellow are there (just darkened; you can see more red in the Hawkman costume). I think that it’s an interesting take on the characters. Though I wish Hawkman’s mace was a bit bigger.

Hawkman’s mace is a little too small in my opinion. Other than that, they look good!

I prefer them mostly yellow with wings.
