When it comes to merchandising, toys, bedsheets, lunchboxes, and horrible, horrible, KFC commercials are to be expected. However, Nixon has announced a piece of Star Wars merch that I actually wouldn’t mind having on my person.
The watch maker has announced to Star Wars themed watches – the Ranger Imperial Pilot Black, and Ranger Stormtrooper White, that look sleek and remind us of the armor worn by the Imperial forces. In fact, if you look closely where the 12 should be, you’ll see the Imperial logo.

I’m loving the designs on the back, and I understand there will be more watching (Boba Fett and Darth Vader) coming this fall. Star Wars watches have come along way since the cheap wind up C-3PO watch I had as an eight year old.
You can order these two watches until the end of the San Diego Comic Con for $375. The other watches arrive in September.
