[SDCC’15] Legendary’s VR App let’s you fly over Stormwind in 360-degree view

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherJuly 9, 20152 Comments1 Min Read

If you have installed the Legendary App on your Android or iSO device you have the ability to fly over the World or Warcraft city, Stormwind in a cool VR experience.

Legendary has big plans for WoW this week at the San Diego Comic Con, including the reveal of the brand new trailer for the movie.  To coincide with the opening of Comic-Con, Legendary’s app allows you to take a VR flight over Stormwind, and it is pretty impressive.  If you don’t have the app, you can check out the YouTube 360 video below that gives you a similar experience.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

A lot of changes to the ol’ city, huh?

Look for more news regarding Warcraft that my include the announcement of not one, but two more movies coming our way. Of course we still have to wait until NEXT summer to see the first Warcraft movie.

It looks great, but that’s modern Stormwind. Last we heard the movie is about first contact, that is before the first war. You can see statues of heroes of the second war!
This may be a spoiler about the plot maybe tying into the current time travel shenanigans, or just a huge lore bust. It wouldn’t be the first time, but typically Blizz doesn’t goof that bad.
