[SDCC’15] Hot Toys gets even bigger with 1/6th scale Millennium Falcon cockpit

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherJuly 9, 2015Updated:July 9, 20152 Mins Read

If you thought Hot Toys lost their marbles when they unveiled a 1/6th scale DeLorean last year at San Diego Comic Con, the company just got bigger with it’s 1/6th scale Millennium Falcon cockpit.

How big is this piece? Consider that the four figures inside the cockpit are indeed 12-inches tall, and that will give you an idea of how big this piece of Star Wars ephemera really is. HOLY COW!

The new installment of the Star Wars series will arrive in cinemas in December, and to anticipate for the continuation of the Star Wars legacy, Hot Toys has created an extremely detailed 1/6th scale Millennium Falcon Cockpit along with an imperial TIE Fighter!

Wait… did they say Imperial Tie Fighter? As in a 1/6th scale tie-fighter? Yup.. that’s what they said.

In addition to the large spacecraft from the epic Star Wars saga, the newly unveiled prototypes of the 1/6th scale Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper diguise, Princess Leia, Return of the Jedi Boba Fett, and a 1/4th scale Stormtrooper are also a big attraction for Star Wars fans!

Last year, Hot Toys blew our minds (and our budget for the year) when they unveiled a 1/6th scale DeLorean from Back to the Future. The company is back with a new DeLorean and a new Marty McFly from Back to the Future II.

Also to celebrate 2015 is the year Marty McFly has travel to in Back To the Future Part II, the new prototypes of the 1/6th scale Marty McFly and DeLorean Time Machine!

And the craziness continues as the company showed off its entire line of 1/6th scale Age of Ultron figures, including the newly unveiled Maria Hill, and Ant-Man figures.

Most of the 1/6th scale figures sell between $199 and #399, so scale that up for the Millennium Falcon and Tie-FIghter and you better have deep pockets, and lots of space at home, if you plan on getting these.
