For an Avatar the Last Airbender game I’d highly recommend Shadowrun. You can cut a lot of the tech parts and have all the benders use magic. There are also rules in there for summoning spirits or even playing a spirit. It is a fairly crunchy system though.

Or they could use Fate or Mutants and Masterminds and not have to do a lot of cutting out the core of some systems.

There’s a new Pathfinder book coming out next month with a Kineticist in it. That class will allow people to choose elements and aspects to use.

Of course, the base version of the class allows people to branch out into other elements, but in the play test there were options to just further specialize in the element you started with to make your abilities there stronger.

That’s a really good idea! I love it. However as you said, Shadowrun is kinda complicated as a system. If your players like more the cinematic roleplaying, I would go with Fate.

      What’s with Matthew’s audio?

Seconded. One of the rare times that critical hit’s audio quality has been subpar.

As mentioned on Twitter and elsewhere, this was an Internet connection issue that caused the problem. That’s night’s recording session was full of connection issues that degraded the audio quality from Matthew’s end.
