MATTHEW: I’m not a fan of the new “soldier/killer/vigilante” take on Black Canary in the New 52, but I’m 100% on board with this one. Fingers crossed that we get a new era of Canary cool out of it.

Doctor Fate has had a few other mini-series that may have worked or may not have worked depending on which side of the fence you were standing on, but there is something about seeing the golden helmet and medallion that gets me excited.
