There are still 28 days to go for The Sixth Gun RPG Kickstarter campaign, but already the fundraising has smashed its goal by four times the asking amount.
Oni Prss and Pinnacle Entertainment Group were seeking $6,000 to bring the Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt series to table tops around the world, but after the first 24 hours, the Kickstarter campaign has raised over $28,000.
The Sixth Gun artist and co-creator Brian Hurtt said in a prepared statement, “Cullen and I have fantasized about a SIXTH GUN RPG for years and to finally have it become a reality is a dream come true. We’re blown away by the amazing response from both Sixth Gun and Pinnacle fans who made this happen! Now we’re looking forward to see if we can cross the final stretch goal and take the opportunity to expand the scope of the game—and build on the canon of this universe we created—in the form of a new exclusive adventure for the RPG. Cullen and I already have plans for new characters, stories, and events… and even new comic material exclusive to the RPG which we hope to share with fans of The Sixth Gun, both old and new!”
There are still a number of stretch goals that can be unlocked between now and June 25th, including character miniatures in the 32mm scale.
