Starting the first week of May, select YouTube creators, including Machinima, TheBrothersRiedell, Adi Shankar, Lana McKissack and more, will have the opportunity to develop an original superhero concept and produce cutting edge content on cinematic-quality sets,* including a secret lair complete with a high-tech command center, science lab and weapons locker. Creators can also ‘take to the streets’ to virtually scale buildings, fly over skyscrapers or even take the battle to outer space for action sequences in YouTube Spaces’ state-of-the-art green screen stages.
*Sets will vary by region.
As part of the program, POW! Entertainment will offer educational sessions with master stunt coordinators and visual effects experts, along with professional costume consultations to help create a “super” original look for participating YouTube creators. 12 channels will be selected for a script consultation with Stan Lee’s POW! development team and an additional six global channels will earn a script consultation with Stan Lee, himself! Select creators will also be invited to speak on panels and present their content at Stan Lee’s 2015 Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles.

Videos from YouTube’s World of Superheroes program at YouTube Spaces are slated to go live between mid-June and the end of July on individual creator channels, and will also be promoted on Stan Lee’s World of Heroes channel and the official YouTube Spaces channel.
