[Video Games] Adventure Time’s first graphic adventure goes 3D in Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations

    Press Release

This Autumn, video game players will be able to totally immerse themselves in the Land of Ooo, playing an all-new, fully-3D Adventure Time video game, Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations. Developed by Vicious Cycle and based on the blockbuster Cartoon Network original series, Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations will launch this November on the newest generation of video game consoles: Xbox One®, PlayStation® 4, and Nintendo Wii U™, as well as popular gaming systems Xbox 360®, PlayStation® 3, Nintendo 3DS™ and Steam (PC). The game will be distributed by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe S.A.S in the UK.

Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations is an all-new, real-time, fully-3D action-oriented twist on the classic story-driven graphic adventure game, in which Finn and Jake decide to carry on the occupation of Finn’s foster parents, who were professional investigators. Confronted with mysterious Land of Ooo disappearances and strange events, players will interrogate colorful inhabitants, dispatch evil doers in fast-paced combat, solve mind-bending puzzles, explore new and familiar locations, and really feel as if they have stepped into their own personal episode of Adventure Time.

“We received a lot of fan feedback asking us to bring our next Adventure Time game to next generation consoles in 3D, and we’re thrilled to be delivering that and a lot more,” said Matt Scott, CEO of Little Orbit. “This new game is a complete departure from previous Adventure Time games. We have created an intriguing classic adventure game set in a richly-detailed 3D Land of Ooo where players can check out Land of Ooo locales, talk to characters, sharpen their creative puzzle-solving skills, defeat bad guys and just have fun.”

Johanne Broadfield, Vice President, Cartoon Network Enterprises, Turner Broadcasting EMEA commented: “As any fan of Adventure Time knows, the Land of Ooo is mysterious and surprising at every turn – so we’re incredibly excited to be collaborating again with Little Orbit, to bring this wonderful world and our ever-popular characters to life in this new, fully-immersive 3D gaming experience.”

Additional information about Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations will be available in the coming months. Fans will be treated to a variety of behind-the-scenes treats, including screen shots, character news tidbits, videos and more at the Little Orbit Twitter (@littleorbit) and the official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LittleOrbitGames.
