One of my personal heroes of 3D Printing is James Bruton, a UK hobiest who has been using his 3D printers to build everything from R6 units, and life-size Hulk Buster costumes. Can’t wait to see if James succeeds on this or not. If he does, he’s created a BB-8 Droid for less than $500 in parts and printing supplies. I’m also hopeful he will share the plans for this droid online like he did with his current R6 droid.
