Action Lab Entertainment is all about momentum. Ever moving forward in a crowded comic book marketplace requires the right keys in the right places. So, it’s with great pleasure that we announce that Vito Delsante, co-creator and writer of the recently released STRAY, has joined the company.
Delsante is a writer whose independent and mainstream comics credits Superman, Batman Adventures, Scooby Doo, X-men Unlimited along with his own creations Stray, World War Mob and FCHS. Delsante will join the company as the Associate Director of Marketing stepping in for Kelly Dale, currently on sabbatical. A former comics retailer with 15 years experience, Vito brings a unique perspective as he works with our retail partners and creators.
Former Co-Director of Marketing and Press Relations, Jamal Igle has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing for both Action Lab Entertainment and Action Lab: Danger Zone imprints.
“I’ve known Vito for a long time, and when the question came up of needing someone to step in for Kelly while she takes some time off, Vito was the first person who came to mind,” said Igle. “Vito was the backbone of Jim Hanley’s Universe while he was there. He’s a talented writer, a great pitch man and in a job like this, you need to know who has your back. He’s already proven to be an invaluable addition to the company.”
