Today via his Instagram, director Bryan Singer announced that actor Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), would play the young Kurt Wagner a.k.a. Nightcrawler in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse film.
This social media announcement follows Singer’s casting announcement of Scott Summers, Jean Grey and Storm via Twitter earlier this year.

Ummm,are they throwing out their own messed up continuity now? Kurt appeared in X-2. He was introduced as a new character.
