    FCBD: Hermes Press announces The Phantom

    Hermes Press is a Silver Book participant in the next Free Comic Book Day, and the publisher’s offering of The Phantom may just attract a few new fans.

    This year’s title is from the Ghost Who Walks, The Phantom, and he’s ready for action!

    The Phantom, the grand-daddy of costumed heroes celebrates Free Comic Book Day 2015 with a volume showcasing stories by some of the greatest artists to ever create tales for this ground-breaking title featuring The Ghost Who Walks.  This 32 page book will feature work from the Gold Key and King Phantom comics created by Bill Lignante; from the Charlton Phantom comics created by Jim Aparo and Don Newton and will offer samples of the newest Phantom story created by Peter David and Sal Velluto. The book features an eye-catching Don Newton cover. Hermes Press’ Phantom FCBD issue will also offer bonus material and tons of surprises!

      I wish they had featured Kari Leppänen, hes a Finnish comic book artist and been drawing The Phantom from the 70’s and still does.

          I believe so, looks kinda familiar. He did Phantom published in Nordic countries a long time. There has been some collections of his Phantom in here, like this one: http://blogi.egmontkustannus.fi/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/mustanaamio-spesiaali-kari-lepp%C3%A4nen.jpg but I wish they brought them to U.S. too.
