Life-size Rocket Raccoon can be yours

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherDecember 19, 20141 Comment2 Mins Read

At Major Spoilers, we love Guardians of the Galaxy. Sure it has its weak plot points and a few elements that don’t make a lot of sense, but it does have a giant walking tree and a talking raccoon. Though we’ve seen plenty of life-sized baby Groot figures and statues floating around, we haven’t seen any life-size homages to Rocket until now.

Section 9 is offering up a life-size statue of the diminutive hero. The statue stands 78-inches high, which is 6.5-feet – quite a bit bigger than a normal raccoon.  The answer, dear Spoilerite is because Rocket stands on a base that is nearly three feet tall.  I didn’t see anything on the Section 9 site indicating you can display the statue without the base, so you will need to make sure you have plenty of space in your own Nerd Room of Doom if you plan on grabbing one of these.

The statue will ship six to eight weeks after you order, will arrive in three different boxes, and will only set you back $4,897.00.   Will your bank account love Rocket Raccoon as much as you do?  If you have ordered one of these, send us a picture with you next to it so we can share it with the world.

Would anyone consider buying a used, slightly damaged soul so that I can afford this? Anyone at all?
