“This December is the month where I turn 44, and I’m finally glad to be old enough to say this: “You rotten kids don’t know how good you have it today!” When I was first getting into comics, we only heard rumors of the cool comics of other countries, like Katushiro Otomo’s ‘Akira’ or Alan Moore’s ‘Marvelman’. During the big post-Dark Knight boom, rumors of a series of Japanese 1960s Batman stories came to my attention for the first time, and the idea of full-on Manga-style Batmania was irresistible to me. Sadly, it was some years before I finally got my hands on a (really awful, incomplete and hard-to-read) copy, and I’ve never been able to read the *whole* story… UNTIL NOW!
