Wow a great mailback.
Being a Scandinavian I never thought twice about Kets lastname. Im my head it was allways “Ket the Gambler”. Funny to think that everyone didn’t think of it that way :)
I would like to comment on every episode as I love them, and have gone throu all episodes more than 5 times. But the site has grown so much since critical hit started, so when i go to comment late saturday or sunday, the link is 2-3 pages down.
Just wanted to comment and let you all know my DM and myself have been listening and loving this show since torq jumped out the window. We may not comment on line, but we wait impatiently for crit hit each week.
Highlight of our DnD week.
P.S. Wasn’t crit hit supposed to teach Steven the new system? Please embrace 5e and continue to rule the top ten on “other games”. Also 3 hour long 4e combat is killing me.
The DMG will be out next week so Rodrigo can stop crying about not having the core books to work with.
Play 5e!!
Thanks for the wonderful show!
In-character mail bag hopes rise with each mail bag, only to be dashed!
Mailbag a.k.a. D&D Therapy Session. ;)
Here I am – silent listener, never commenter. I listen on my iPhone and have never used the comments. Well there was that one time when I asked where I could find those pictures of the combat from season one. I don’t think I ever got a response to that. ;-)
Maybe I missed it, but have you considered a Critical Hit Patreon? I know you already have infrastructure in place, but giving the critical mass of people there, I have to believe it would make good sense. So nice to be able to fund all my favorite content in one place.
Here’s a question for edition wars… I have to say that once WOTC moved on to 5th edition I kinda lost interest in both 4th and 5th. I’ve heard great things about 5th, but really enjoyed my 4th ed campaign. Ran it for about a year before we took a break to tour other systems: Shadowrun, 13th Age, Numenera, Gumshoe (Call of Cthulhu), and now, King Arthur Pendragon. The point is, I’d never had tried the tour if 4th was a going concern.
Really appreciate what Rodrigo does with this game. Having run mine for a year I was ok with the break and lately rely on published modules. Job changes and a new baby seem to have eaten a lot of my time! Stephen – You probably need to pay him a little more. Maybe a bonus for the whole season epilogue and “Torq was never heard from again” line. Strong finish!
Adrianna is the best. I’d say Trell but love how different her Mantis persona was from Trell!
Favorite NPC: Hedgehogs. Especially their song.
OK – I don’t want to say any more for fear of generating too many mailbag episodes that delay the game episodes. Keep up the great work everyone!
Thanks for your suggestion regarding Patreon. Instead of Patreon, we ask that all of our fans become Major Spoilers VIPs at http://members.majorspoilers.com. A $2/month contribution goes much farther than you might think. Our VIP site is not much different in how Patreon works, and instead of forking over a large portion to Patreon, we are able to fold that extra back into everything that Major Spoilers does.
Thanks for your comments!
I have been a faithful Critical Hitter (or Critter, as I like to call myself) for many years. I don’t often listen on a computer, but instead on the road or when I was at work. It made the long boring days fly by to hear the old adventures in the Astral Sea, Messing around on the Moon, or Hammertiming all the way down the tower. I may not comment as much as i’d like, but I’m always here, listening. And as soon as I recover from my surgery (in a year or so, not sure yet) I will be getting back to my VIP status, which has unfortunately had to stop for the time being. Keep up the great work you guys!
