Rockstar Games has just announced that they will be bringing Gran Theft Auto V to the Xbox One, PS4, and PC and have shown off a new mod allowing players to go from third-person to first-person.

You can crank the video detailing the new mode for Grand Theft Auto V up to 60 fps thanks to the new update by YouTube. It looks so good!

    Grand Theft Auto V (PS4/XB1/PC) – First Person Mode Trailer (60fps) [1080p] TRUE-HD QUALITY

►► Remember to select 720p or 1080p for 60fps HD◄◄ So Rockstar Games have confirmed this will run at 1080p @ 30fps, but the PC version will be able to run at…

Have never played the Grand Theft Auto games I’m not sure if a modder has ever gone in and created a version like this on their own, but even if they haven’t it is interesting that Rockstar Games went ahead and threw this in the new version. The perspective change sure does give the game a different feel, at least through eyes that has only watched game trailers.

Grand Theft Auto V will release on Xbox One and Playstation 4 on November 18th while PC players have to wait until January 27th.

Read the full announcement by Rockstar Games below detailing the rest of the add-ons to the game:

Exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto V, this new mode gives players the chance to explore the world of Los Santos and Blaine County directly through the eyes of their character, revealing all the world’s glorious details in an entirely new way.

Available in both GTAV and GTA Online, we’ve made a host of changes to accommodate this new perspective, including the creation of an optional first person cover system, a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme, and integrating thousands of new animations into the existing game. It’s also available at the touch of a button so you can easily switch back and forth between perspectives.

Alongside the new First Person mode, Grand Theft Auto V for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC features hundreds of additions and enhancements including 1080p resolution at 30FPS on PS4 and Xbox One (4K compatible on PC).

Grand Theft Auto V will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18th. Coming January 27th to PC.

    – New weapons, vehicles and activities
    – Additional wildlife
    – Denser traffic
    – New foliage system
    – Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more

Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will also feature enhanced radio selections with over 100 additional new songs and new DJ mixes from returning DJs across the game’s 17 radio stations.

All players who pre-order the game will get $1,000,000 in-game bonus cash to spend across Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA$500K each for your Story Mode and for your GTA Online in-game bank accounts).

A host of new, exclusive content also awaits for players returning from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more maneuverable Blimp; activities including wildlife photography and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more.

Enhancements to Grand Theft Auto Online include an increased player count, with online play now for up to 30 players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. All existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online will also be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with much more to come.

Existing players will be able to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC. For more info about gaining access to exclusive content for returning players, please visit rockstargames.com/V/bonuscontent.
