From what I could tell about this book, looks like the characters and maybe story too are exactly the same as in classic PC rpg series Called Baldur’s Gate. At least Minsc is one of the center characters in them. One of the best computer rpgs of all time, everyone should try them. Whats great about them is that character creation and game system are almost exactly same as AD&D. Only that computer does all the dice rolling in the background.

I was listening to the podcast and freaked out when they described the big fighter guy and his hamster. Minsc and Boo are two of my favorite characters ever. Now I have to get this book.

“Go for the eyes, Boo! Go for the eyes!”
