Wonder Woman can go toe to toe with Superman, she could handle Supergirl without too much trouble.. Her training alone will result in her beating Kara despite maybe not being as powerful.

If we assume Kryptonians are slightly more powerful than demigods like WW. (In the DCAU by way of Hades and in the new 52 by Zeus).
The straightforward answer would then be Supergirl.. However taking into account that Wonder Woman is the Bruce Lee of supergods, then Kara’s slight advantage might not be enough since she’s pretty much just a high schooler FROM SPACE!!!

While the obvious answer may seem to be Wonder Woman, Kara Zor-El may have the upper hand. Given Supergirl’s kryptonian power level Wonder Woman will need to go all out to take her down. However, when amazon princess gets the upper hand Supergirl’s body will go into defence mode and rapidly create grow suncrystals that will take Wonder Woman by surprise and hand the win to Supergirl.

      Amazonian magic trumps kryptonian invincibility.

I have to give it to Kara. Being kryptonian gives her the clear upper hand. Unless Wonder Woman is carrying kryptonite, she doesn’t have a chance!

Wonder Woman wins quite early in the fight. though an argument can be made that Supergirl is much stronger fighting skill and equipment has Kara tied up and telling the truth in two minutes or so

I vote for Supergirl. Though Wonder Woman has the power to go toe to toe with Superman, she isn’t invulnerable, and Supergirl had a much more complete power set. While Wonder Woman might be able to hold her own against any Kryptonian once she got within striking range, Kara could use her Superbreath to blow Wonder Woman into orbit, or use her Heat Vision to fry Wonder Woman long before could get close enough to clobber her. Supergirl has the speed to avoid the magic lasso, which negates one of the few advantages WW has over a Kryptonian. Also, all Kara would have to do would be to slam her hands together and create a shock wave and knock WW into the propeller (or jet intake depending on which era you’re talking about) of Wonder Woman’s invisible plane and Aquaman would be scraping up what little was left of Wonder Woman for fish food.

Wonder Woman should not be able to go toe to toe with Superman. What’s the point of Supergirl if you have Wonder Woman? Without any specifics on which Supergirl versus which Wonder Woman, I’m picking Supergirl. Wonder Woman takes a heat vision headshot. I like Wonder Woman but I’m not fan of her becoming a near equal to Superman over the years. Just doesn’t make sense to me. It doesn’t feel natural or neccesary. Compared to other demigods and even gods throughout comics, Wonder Woman is overpowered.
