    Which superhero is most popular

    Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherSeptember 17, 2014Updated:September 17, 20142 Comments2 Mins Read

Movoto, a real estate brokerage site, has done a study to find out which superhero is the most popular by state. It’s no surprise that Batman is the top of the top, but at least two other maps derived from the company’s data.

After the revelation regarding Batman, the next character I found interesting was Marvel’s Spider-Man, who is only the second most popular in his home state of New York.

And if you are a Wonder Woman fan, your in good company if you live in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Texas.

Basically, we researched the number of Facebook users in each state who have Liked each of the most popular superheroes. That elite list includes:

    • Spider-Man
    • Batman
    • Iron Man
    • Superman
    • Thor
    • Captain America
    • Hulk
    • Wonder Woman
    • Wolverine
    • Green Lantern

After that, we put the data into a spreadsheet, did some number crunching, and BAM! we came up with this map.

Keep in mind this isn’t the most scientific study out there (though the gathering method is sound to a point), and it is all in fun, but if you want to move to a state that has more like minded comic book fans, then this data may be vital in your next move.

Well no wonder they got numbers wrong, they trusted Facebook. That is like trusting the email that a prince in Nigeria needs a loan to send you millions of dollars.
