Ah, Batman, the best superhero movie. That gothic style of Gotham City with gargoyles, cathedrals, newspaper flying around on the streets, THAT is what makes Batman setting for me. Single biggest failure of Nolan’s movies apart trying way too hard to be realistic and gritty (not to mention terrible writing and not getting what characters are about at all) is that Gotham looks just like generic american city.
