    ComiXology returns to SXSW Interactive

    This March, comiXology dominates SXSW Interactive with a whole host of activities including: sponsoring the SXSW Geek Stage; a special panel; happy hour; free comics offered throughout the event; and handing out $150,000 worth of $5 Amazon Appstore credits toward comiXology content at comiXology’s SXSW Gaming Expo booth #125 & 127.

    AbDBov0“SXSW Interactive brings together some of the biggest names in video games, comics and entertainment and we’re proud to power the stage that will see them strut their stuff,” said comiXology co-founder & CEO David Steinberger. “We’ve also got some great things for our fans including our awesome – and free to attend – panel as well as a free happy hour, booth giveaways and more!”

    From March 7th through the 9th, comiXology will sponsor the SXSW Geek Stage where all the big announcements are made and comiXology will be covering the events live as they happen on their social channels. ComiXology will also be having their own panel on the Geek Stage and making an announcement that is sure to excite new and current comics fans. The comiXology panel will be topped off with a happy hour following.

    In addition, comiXology will also be giving out a select amount of free digital comics and graphic novels before and after the events happening on the Geek Stage. If that wasn’t enough, comiXology and Amazon Appstore will be handing out $150,000 worth of $5 dollar gift credits to purchase comics on comiXology’s Amazon Appstore Android App!
