Following the release of the animated adaptation of Flashpoint, the next direct-to release from the DC Universe had to be the Justice League Origin story as told in the pages of the New 52. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, released the first trailer for the movie, that you can check out, after the jump.
When the powerful Darkseid and his massive, relentless forces invade Earth, a group of previously unaligned super heroes – misunderstood and, in some cases, hunted by the authorities – discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a cohesive unit. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and, in his origin story, Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, “Justice League: Origin,” by Geoff Johns & Jim Lee, JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment’s “The New 52.”
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR features the voices of Jason O’Mara (Vegas, Terra Nova), Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs), Justin Kirk (Weeds), Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory), Serenity, Firefly), Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible III), Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), Sean Astin (LOTR films), Bruce Thomas (Army of Darkness) and Steve Blum (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Producer is James Tucker and director is Jay Oliva from a script by Heath Corson.
Justice League: War arrives on Blu-ray, VOD, and digital download on February 04, 2013.

Poor Aquaman didnt make it…
He is getting his own movie
more bleakness from dc comics.
Urg…Aquaman being replaced by Captain Marvel in this movie is baffling. It also happens to be bad freaking business. Aquaman is being written by their most popular author, it is one of the best selling books out right now, for both DC AND Marvel, and he’s enjoying a real renaissance. So, let’s replace him in the story which was WRITTEN TO INCLUDE HIM with Captain freaking Marvel. How well is his book selling these days? Ohh right, he doesn’t have one. He’s an annoying back-up strip in JLA that I was always tempted to skip because it simply wasn’t very good.
Even if he’s getting his own movie, this is still asinine.
Looks good but, really tired of Apocalypse and 52.
I didn’t realize that Captain Marvel fought Darkseid in the comics.
Aquaman not being in this movie make sense everything that’s is happening is affecting the surface world if it dose affect Atlantis aquaman doesn’t care nor would it come to his attention so it makes sense
