Diamond Comic Distributors released the numbers for titles sold in the direct market in September 2013. The biggest thing to note for the month was DC Comics took the top spot in both the Dollar and Unit Shares – which really shouldn’t be too surprising considering the Villains Month dot releases caused a huge number of titles to be shipped during the month.
Dark Horse Comics took a big tumble down to fifth place, behind Image Comics and IDW Publishing, but still sold double the number of titles by Dynamite Entertainment.
