They say that love makes the world go ’round, love lifts up where we belong, all you need is love. But, for every Ollie and Dinah in the world, there’s a Juggernaut and She-Hulk, a Joey and Rachel, a Cosmic Boy and Saturn Girl. The bad pairings (while admittedly in the eye of the beholder) seem to outnumber the good ones, and sometimes, as Mal and Inara proved, the good pairings actually ARE the bad ones. Given the depth of my pop culture experience, it’s natural to wonder whether Captain Kirk’s love of strangely hued ladies wouldn’t make Mystique his dream-girl, or how Barbara Gordon’s love of bad boys might fare were she embroiled in a long-term relationship with Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze.
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always “misquoted”) doesn’t think that the power of love should be bound by the surly bounds of intellectual property, asking: If you could pair up any two fictional characters from anywhere in pop culture, who would make the best/most interesting couple?

Atomic Robo, Jocasta and Arcee. He needs some robot loving.
Charlie Bradbury (“Supernatural”, played by Felicia Day) and potential Slayer Vi/Violet (“Buffy”, played by Felicia Day).
Worf & Valkyrie, a couple of warriors together I think would make a pretty interesting couple
Spock (star trek) and Lloyd Christmas (dumb and dumber)
They could compare hairstyles and annoy each other. Think Dahrma and Greg but with phasers and loud noises.
The Doctor (take your pick which one, I’ll go with the 9th) and Ms. Valerie Frizzle (Magic School Bus)
