SDCC’13: Hasbro announces Boba Fett, The Black Series

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherJune 6, 2013Updated:June 6, 20131 Min Read

We’ve written before about the Star Wars, The Black Series line of action figures. The six-inch figures full of awesome detail and Hasbro is kicking off the line at the San Diego Comic Con with Boba Fett.

For the first time ever, Hasbro is introducing a 6-inch scale of the greatest characters from the STAR WARS universe, and fans will have their first opportunity to start their BLACK SERIES 6-inch figure collection at San Diego Comic-Con with the BOBA FETT action figure which comes with HAN SOLO IN CARBONITE accessory.

This set looks very cool, and even though I half expected the price to $99.99 or more, Hasbro has set the price at $44.99 for those heading to the big convention.  You should stake out the Hasbro booth (#3329) if you want to grab one of these.

As with all things releasing at the San Diego Comic Con, this Boba Fett figure is making me regret the decision to not attend the convention again this year.  On the plus side, right after SDCC, Hasbro will have a limited number of the sets available at HasbroToyShop.com.
